(United Press Association—By .Electric

Telegraph—Copyright.’

(Received this day at 10.25 n.m.)

LONDON, December 6. Tn the presence of the record crowd of 45,000, Oxford defeated Cambridge 'at rimby by 8 to 3. Dominion players wore prominent in the game.

Cambridge, early in the game were superior, but a splendid try by the speedy Auckland winger, Minns, enabled Oxford to draw Evel, and at half .time the score was three 'all. Thereafter, Oxford dominated the scrums and played better all round. Lamport (captain), of Sydney, worked the scrums cleverly, and started a movement enabling Minns to score another try, which Jenkins brilliantly converted.

The South African cricketer, OwenSmith, Oxford’s full-back, was skilful throughout.
