N.S.W. PILOT KILLED IN CRASH

.SYDNEY, December 6
An Australian Air Force aeroplane nose-dived for three hundred feet during a forced landing near the Richmond Aerodrome to-day. Flying Officer Blarney was killed, and his mechanic was slightly injured.' Bl a ~ hiey, who had been two years in the Air Force, was a skilled pilot. He was a s on of General T. A. Blarney, the Victorian Commissioner of Police, who is at present visiting Sydney for the test match.

An aviator, J. R: Herbert has arrived '.her e from Koepang. He landed at 3.30 p.m. local tim e , after flying his Gipsy Moth plane by easy stages. Herbert, who is a Canadian, left England on October 12. H© intends to ship his machine back to Vancouver, and then to fly to his home at Montreal.
YOUNG GIRL’S FATAL CRASH
(Received this day a l- - 10.20 a.m.) CAIRO, December <3. During a fog, in which ehe lost the escorting plalne, a girl flyer, G'abi Angeil'inc, who is-only 16 years of age, cn route to Italy and India, crashed at Cyranaica, and was fatally injured.
