POISON CHARGE
PREFERRED AGAINST BROTHER. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, December 3. George Champion was committed for trial on a charge of having caused his brother Charles to take cyanide, so as to endanger his life. Giving evidence Charles said that firing the evening, at the pictures, hi‘s brother bought two bottles o' lemonade. Witness ’drank s°me, but it tasted bitter } and h e mentioned the fact to Ids brother who drank the remainder of. the contents of . the bottle. Medical evidence was given that the quantity ot cyanide consumed by Champion wa s very small. Bail was fixed at £SO. Charles went as surety for his brother’s appearance.
