CANADIAN PAPER MONEY. November 28. Gann da has no intention of abandoning gold coverage for its paper' money, the Prime Minister, Mr R. 13. Bennett announced in the House of Commons to-dav.
S'.nee 1029 'Canada has technically not been on the gold standard, but covers with gold its notes. Canada hais a statutory 25 per cent, coverage for the first 50 million dollars in Dominion notes and dollar.
