SITTING AT HOKITIKA. (Before W. Meldrum, Esq., S.M.) Debt Casas. Judgment for plaintiff with costs was given in the following case: Robert Parker (Mr Murdoch) v. A. J. Willmot, £l/16/- and coats 8/-. Bylaw Cam. The police charged Allan D. J. Rog?ers with driving a motor vehicle witnout a license. Fined 5/- and costs 10/6. I The Borough Inspector charged James E. Smith with failure to observe traffic regulations. Fined 5/- and costs 22/6. The police charged Owen Wildbore with being in possession of an unregistered rifle. Ordered to pay cosU. Defended Claim. Alfred Aderman (Mr Elcock) v. Frederick Charles Marshall (Mr Murdoch), claim for possession of iron pipes, or £42/16/-. Mr Murdoch raised a point of jurisdiction, claiming the plaint note was bad in law. Adjourned, on application of plaintiff to 16th, the question of costs being reserved. Court Cleared. An affiliation case was then heard, the Court being cleared during the hearing of the evidence, on the application of counsel, Messrs Murdoch and Elcock. After hearing evidence his Worship ordered Stanley Taylor to pay 10s per week, £3 14s back maintenance, plaintiff’s expenses £l3 3s, counsel’s fee £3 3s and witnesses £1 7s. ,
