The Bessemer steelworks ar, e being erected by Stewart Lloyds. . Bessemer steel was originally manufactured in Britain, which now is dependent on America and other foreign producers. It is hoped that Stewart Lloyds will 'enable Britain to regain her independence. As a result, of Ottawa, an American Coy., operating in Canada, has ordered a million boxes of tinplates.
