NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 30
“Waitarn. was an extremely unfortunate place in which to use those words,” said the Magistrate, Mr 1a to this morning, when fining Charles T'e Wai £3 and costs 10s for using insulting words to free labourers on November -4th.
A charge of using insulting words in McLean St.,- Wiaitara, was also made, against Thomas Henry Emens, president of the Waitara freezing works employees’ union. A remand was asked 1 for till December Bth., ami was granted.
