MAN DISAPPEARS
ANXIETY FELT AT REEFTON

REEFTON, November 29.
A young man named Charles Hunt has been missing to-day from Reefton. There is some anxiety as to his disappearance, as it has not been in anywise explained as yet. Hunt Has been in the employ of Wills Ltd., Buller Road. The young man concluded his work at 5.30 yesterday. Then he took the car. He had not been seen or heard of since.
As a gun is missing from his home, it is assumed that he. has taken it. His brother. Mr W. Hunt, gays the car had very little petrol in it and the missing man had no money with him. It i,s therefore assumed that he has not arranged to go 'any great distance.
Telephone communicatioij’ with Westport showed that the missing man had not been seen in that locality. 'Mr W. Hunt left at mid-day to-day ITT a motor car to make inquiries in the Inangahua :and Buller Valley. It is hoped that nothing s erious has happened to tlie young man.
