PRISONERS ESCAPE

AUCKLAND, November 27

Two-prisoners escaped from the Waikerea Prison Camp at about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. They were: Arthur Albert Qlaton, aged 20 years. Graham Wilfred Morton, aged 21 years.

The escapees are believed to be in possession of a motor-van, which was stolen from the Cambridge Electric Power Board at Camington between one o’clock and four o’clock this mourning.
