LONDON, November 16.

Jn a will discovered in an old skirt ■under her bed, Miss Mary Fitzpatrick, an Irishwoman, aged seventy-two, ileft ■Mr d e Vale.ra property worth £4OOO. It was disclosed at the inquest into her death at Brighton that her brother, hei- sole surviving relative, is contesting the will and that an -action is pending between him and Mr de Valera. Miss Fitzpatrick led the l*fe of a recluse and was found dead in bed. Lashed to tile bed was a strongbox containing valuable jewellery. The '‘‘lrish Press” states that Mr de Valera regards as a gift to the State the bequest of £4OOO left him in the will of Mis© Fitzpatrick.
