RUNAWAY HORSE

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 23,

Several motor-cans parked in Hereford Street had a. lucky escape from damage this .afternoon when a horse attached to a lorry owned by the New Zealand Express Co. took frig'-t and bolted from the front of the Express Co.’s building. The directors reported that the year’s operations had shown a profit despite one of the most difficult seasons experienced. The credit balance was £6622.
