Stanton of the wrecked ’Southern Cross, stating that *be had been- compelled by the weather to return to Vila, in the chartered vessel in which he set out to pick up the remainder of the crew, He -hn« arranged, with tho Morindh. which leaves Auckland to-night, to call at Aueityuhi, ah’d pick up all hands. He expects to charter a craft to proceed to T'ulagi on the 25th. Officer Holmes has been picked up from Tamm Island.
