"SPIRIT OF FUN” CRASHES

American plane "Spirit of Fun" crashed at Victoria Falls, the pilot, Captain Dickson, being killed, and the two passengers, Loew and Rosthal, slightly injured. The plane flew from Hong Kong to Johannesburg in seven days, arriving last Friday, and it stai’ted to-day on a dash to London. It had trouble in taking off on the struck a tree and made several somersaults. Dickson’s throat was cut'. AMY JOHNSON’S FORCED LANDING LONDON, November 17. Amy Johnson 'cabled to her husffand : "Made a forced lauding at Benguella, no oil pressure. Doubt if rectifiable there.” •STILL NO NEWS OF SMITH. LONDON, November 17. There has been no news of Victor Smith for seventy hours.
