PRODUCTS OF FARM. •Many people in- Westland take a very practical and kindly interest in their Ihospital. This has induced the idea of giving some details in connection with the farm go efficiently managed by Mr George Davidson. The figures given ai' e from the audited accounts fo r the year from Ist April, .1931, .to the 31st ' March, 1932, this being the Board’s financial year. 1 Four thousand nine hundred and ,sixteen gallon® of milk were supplied to the hospital, 281 pints of cream, 1297Jbs of pork, 12,4941bs of mutton,; fattened, 19 lambs, 24 cords of rata, and 57 | loads of beech -firewood, 11951 dozen eggs, 61 cockerels,.. 13 hens, 6 geese. From the garden the following vegetables were produced —340 dozen lettuce, 2351bs of scartet runner beans, 1772 cabbages, 3357!bs of carrots, 13831bs of white stone and ryellow turnips, •6881bs of rhubarb, 6631bs of broad beans. 1011b® of green peas, 70 bundles of onions. 3861bs of beetroot, 6261bg of new potatoes, 10- .•caubffdwers, 6 red cabbages, lOlbs of gooseberries, 104lbi of' marrow, 15oibs of “swede turnipS) lO'lSlbs of parsnips, lo6lb s Of butter beatts 280i’os of artichokes, 2401ba of leeks/ while £ll 4s 9d wag realised for the «ale of produce, mostly eggs.
