DUNEDIN, November 16
At the Police Court, fines totalling £270 were imposed on four men who pleaded, guilty to betting offences in connection with Cup week. Arthur Edwin Lord, for using premises as a gaming house was fine„ £IOO.
John Alfred Haig, for permitting the use of premises £SO. William Valentine Forrester, for frequenting a street for betting, £IOO. William Edward Bolton, oil the same charge, £2O.
