Committee of the New Zealand (Racing Conference, came before the Supreme Court to-day. Watson claimed £IOOO damages. The action was a sequel to Watson’s life disqualification, following an inquiry into the ramming of a race at Pukekohe on (March 7, 1931. Watson asserts that the disqualification was invalid, and should be rescinded.

The parties and witnesses were present in the court, but the hearing wa« not begun. After a' long conference between the parties it was announced it had been arranged to submit* the whble matter to an Appeal Committee of the Racing Conference, all technicalities being waived.
