WELLINGTON, November 9.

Ernest John McDonald, olerk, 34, recently sentenced to twelve months 1 imprisonment from the Wayside Club, was sentenced by Mr Page, to-day, to three months in gaol, to be served concurrently with the present term, on each of two charges of theft of £ls 19s 4d from the Commonwealth Land Party, and an attempt to obtain 10s 6d from Walter McLay, by falsely representing himself entitled to collect the subscription for the Wayside Club.
