TO SAVE BRITISH PRODUCERS
LONDON, November 8.
The “Daily Telegraph” says : “Voluntary meat restrictions are the sole practicable method of dealing with the crisis that exists in the British Jive ■stock industry. The banks can now extend credits to the British farmers. The Government’s action is not without risk in the possibility of there being 'a price reaction greater than it has planned, but urgent action has been essential in order tq rescue British agriculture in the greatest crisis it has ever faoed.
