Naval ratings ashore on leave met outside the railway station and discussed th© question of refusing duty. Some of the militants decided uot to rejoin their ships, and others resolved to return, but to refuse duty:,in the morn in r.nless assured that they would not be “intimidated” when the ships put to sea.
