ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Go. report:' —Our entry at yesterday’s sale at the above yards consisted of 23 head of fat cattl© which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. As several butchers had fair supplies on hand, competition was not at all keen, and sales were somewhat difficult to make. Good ox and heifer beef averaged a gout 20s per hundred . We sold as follows:—On account of T.-Staines, 9 bullocks at £7 15s, I a* £7 17s 6d, 1 at £7 15s, 1 at £8 2s 6d, 3 heifers at £7 10s, 7 bullocks at £7 12s 6d, 1 heifer at £4 7s 6d, 4 store cows 255. Messrs W. Jeffries report having sold the following-.—For .Messrs Perry and Coy.—2 bullocks at £8 2s 6d; 8 at ,67 15s : % at £7 12s 6d, 2 at £7 7s 6d, 2 at £7.
