“The Times” directs attention to the severe legislative provisions m New Zealand and Australia in -connection with the competition of road with railway transport. It compares these draconian enactments with the provision in Britain, which, it .says, seems on e of the hist countries to ma ke up to the nerewitv of preventing destructive competition between roads and railways.
