PICTURE FOR SYDNEY ZOO

The New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau at Sydney to-day presented the Taronga Park Zoological Gardens Trust with a beautiful framed picture of Pelorous Jack. A brief history of this noted fish is inscribed on th e picture, which will be added to the Zoo Aquarium.

The gift was received from Mr (Schmitt, New Zealand Government •Commissioner, by Colonel Spain, the President of the Turonga Park Trust, who expressed the deepest appreciation of the gift, and gave mi assurance that it would be given a prominent position in the aquarium, where it will bo seen by thousands of visitors to Sydney’s famous zoo.
