NO MORE WAGE CUTS
HOSPITAL BOARD’S DECISION. (Per Press Associ-iiion — Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 26. The North Canterbury Hospital Board to-day decided to make no further reduction in the wages and the salaries of its staff. This was owing mainly, as it was stated, to the staffs’ co-operation in keeping down expenses. The financial statement for the past six months indicated 'hafgtlie Boaru’s budget, would he balanced'hat the end of the year. -
