ATTEMPT ON LIFE / 4 ~ AFTER SENTENCE IN COURT. (Per Press Association — Ce'jyright.) HAMILTON, ''October 26. A sensational scene was enacted in Hamilton Magistrate’s Court yesterday when on (hearing a sentence of committal in an inebriates’ home, a well dressed married woman, aged 40 years, ''Lynda -Mabel Pearless, hi'ade an attempt .on her life by jabbing a pen into her throat. She struggled violently with the prosecuting sergeant and Idonstable bejfore she was quietened and led out of court. The woman was charged with a breach of a, prohibition order and a charge of attempted suicide was withdrawn. ■Accused’s husband, Reginald L. Pearless, was charged on Friday with assaulting JR. J. Arnold at Auckland, as -a sequel to the latter’s death in the Auckland hospital last week under somewhat -mysterious circumstances, Pearle-s appears at Auckland oii Thursday to answer the charge,
