In promising that the request would be given consideration, Mr Forces stated that in many municipal undertakings, duplication now existed, and it was the desire of the Govei mnent that such questions should be straightened out. OBITUARY. GISBORNE, October 21. John Robert Redstone, 84, a former owner of extensive coaching services, I operating between Wniroa and East j Cape. He settled at Gisborne 44 years ago and developed a substantial interest, before motor competition drove the coaches off the road. M.P.’S DAUGHTER WEDS. WELLINGTON, October 20. Tlui wedding took place at the Basilica- this morning of Rene, only daughter of Mr 11. T. Armstrong, M. P., to Harold Kemp, only sou of Mrs Peter Fraser. The Rev Father Cahill officiated. Mr and Mrs Kemp later left on a motor tour to Auckland.
