Black, M.P. for Motueka, took place to-day at the Karori Cemetery. The burial service was conducted by the Very Rev. Father Sinythe, who was assisted by the Rev. Father Eugene Carmine of Motueka, Those present included Sir Charles Statham (Speaker of the House of Representatives), Right Hon. J. G. Coates, Hen. Mr Cobbe, and tile members of both of the Houses of Parliament, The pall bearers were the H° n ■ W. H. Mclntvfe (representing the Legislative Council), Mr Jas. O Brien and Air Harry Atmore, M’s P. (representing the House of Representatives), B. O. Cahill (representing .fit., Patrick’s College Old Boys’ Association), Air .T. Quinn (representing the Marist Old Boys’ Association) and Mr F. Rodgers (representing the ATotueka District).
