Obvious preparations for an extensive renewal of warfare in Manchuria by the Japanese are revealed by the latest despatches from Harbin and Dairen, where feverish Japanese military activity is progressing. The wharves and railways are seething with soldiers, and are crammed with military equipment. During the past few days, Japanese transports are pouring men into Man-, churia in thousands. The tension in the province of Jeliol is increasing, where it is believed that the Japanese next intend launching a campaign for the purpose of adding this last piece of territory to Manchukuo outside of the great wall.
