YACHT DRUG DENS
ORGIES OFF MONTE CARLO. LONDON, October 4. Secret orgies of opium smoking- by young men and girls on hoard yachts and motor launches ©ff Monte Carlo, Juan les Pins, Cannes, St Maxine, St Tropes arid other resorts, are reported to be under investigation by the French police. So close is the watch now kept upon drug' traffickers in the Riviera towns that addicts have been forced to sea.
They evade the law in this way, according to the Paris “Journal.” A yacht puts to sea at midnight from a quiet harbour, and searches for a marked buoy.
