In a ten round her vyweight contest Jack Doyle (Ireland; knocked out Tack Pettifer (King’s Cross), in the see ond round. Pettifer inflicted heavy damages with constant straight lefts in the first round, but Doyle retaliated in the second with smashing rights, the third of which put Pettifer through the ropes where lie lay with his head overhanging the press scate until counted out.
