The business was to discuss the new eompauy now being formed for the marketing’ of honey on a co-operative basis, both, on the local market and the export market. After discussion, it was decided that some adequate means 'for the export of the honey was very essential, but that, in the light of the weaknesses of the previous co-operative exporting company, it would be necessary that every beekeeper ishould be quite sure thaj- this new company would be secure from falling into tfle same pitfalls °f the previous company before they became sharqjiplders.
It was ,thought tit that all bee-keep-ers should prepare some constructive questions to put. forward to any visiting delegates from the new company. It was rev lived almost unanimously, to support the Executive of the National Beekeepers’ Association, in agitating for the Government to strengthen the position of the Honey Export- Control Board.
