The pleasant aroma of hot coffee filled the air. There were pyramids of ham sandwiches, stacks of toast—and the forbidding warning not’-ce —“a.!l drinks lexfcrf,”

At 1.40 a.m. the House resumed, to continued the “all-nighter,” but the rebate collapsed, and at 1.50 a.m. the House rose.
