Kay (Otago) two up and one. Mrs H. Collinson (Manaivatu) beat Mrs H. Dodgshun (Otago) four up and three. Miss Earns Graliam (Poverty Bay) beat Miss B. Rutherford (Ilawarden) six up and five. •Mrs Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Mrs McCarthy (Otago) six up and five. Miss M. Stevens (Pupuke) lost to Miss M. Beadel (Christchurch), Miss S. Watson (Manawotu) ’and Mrs J. C. Templer (Waimate) all square. Mrs Foreman (Miramar) lost to Miss F. Pringle (Timaru) five up and three. Miss E. N. Upton (Auckland) lost to Miss M. Lizard (Timaru) one up.
