PRESIDENT HOOVER

A PENIAL OF BRITISH CITIZENSHIP. (United Press .Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, October S. The Republican National Committee have issued a statement to-aay emphatically denying the report that President Hoover once was a British citizen. They allege that their opponents are circulating a photostatic copy of -a letter from the Town Clerk of' Kensington, England, showing that Mr Hoover was a British householder from l&ll to 1935, and’ from this drawing the inference that he was a British voter. The Committee asserts he was a British taxpayer, but that as an alien, he never voted.
