Japanese authorities believing )in the proverb, set a thief to catch a Thief, are utilising former Chinese bandits to negotiate with the captors and now • believe it may be possible to secure their release without! any ransom, or leastly only a small one. Failing this, Japanese have formulated elaborate plans to rescue the Britons without endangering their lives.
