JUNIOR REP. GAME. On Cass Square on Saturday Grey third grade reps, were beaten by 20 points to 19 by Westland junior reps, in a ragged game. Hokitika had the better of the early and final stages, but were fairly lucky, as also, however, were the visitors. Grey inside hacks were good, hut there was too much kicking by everybody, ~ apd a great many kicks were so badly, 'directed that they struck opponents before ball travelled '. two, yards. Grey led S-6 ait half-time,; and 13.r6 after resuming, and later by 16-9/r For the winners tries were got by Richard.®, Adamson (2), Johnston, while Stapleton .kicked three penalty goals and 1 converted a try. For Greymouth tries were scored,by Blair, Olsen, Goodall 'and Clarke’ while Goodall kicked a penalty goal and converted two tries... •SARAtCY CUP. The Saraty Cup seven-a-side competition played at- Kumara on Sat-, nrday resulted in : Kumara retaining the trophy, they beating Cobden in the final by 5 points to 3, after a fast arid open exhibition. Kumara have mow won the trophy outright.
