BILL IS to BE INTRODUCED. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, September 28. . An indication that a Bill would be introduced into Parliament this session to provide for, instruction m schools was given during a deputation representing church organisations which waited: .on'Mr G. W. Forbes, to-day. Speakers on th e deputation referred to the moral laxity of ,to-day, ■ and strewed the importance of religious training in sdhools.
Mr ?&rbes promised that, ,when the Bill was introduced by Mr H. Holland (C., Christchurch North), he won!-: place- : no obstacles in the way of it' consideration' by the members. The churches represented were the -Anglican,. -Presbyterian, Bapist, -Co'’gregational,, Church of Christ, Salvation Army, Methodist and Luther a' 1 -; In addition,- eight women’s organisation? were represented.
