LOS ANGELES, September 27. The death of Eva Davenport at the age of 74 years is recorded. She was an operetta star of last century. Her death ocurrcd on Monday. She went to Australia from her birthplace m England at the age of fifteen years, and she is credited with playing m the first performance of “Pinafore ’ thcro a S “Josephine.”
