In the 'Magistrate’s Court, Claude MdLaughlti, otherwise known as Claude Dolores, a psychic medium, was ordered to-pay a debt of £ll/1/6 forthwith, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment. It was stated that Dolores had arranged to leave by the Maunganui this afternoon, on route for England. Dolores was allowed to depart in an endeavour to. raise the money, but at 1 p.m, lie had not -returned-, and the bailiff then left in search of him.

Dolores, arrived at his residence at two o’eteck. He said that: everything was fixed and he was going, to sail.
