At the annual reunion of the mern-t bers of the Wellington, Early Settlers* Association to-day, a message was read from the Prime .Minister, stating: “I would like to take this opportunity of urging the people of the Dominion to continue to co-operate wholeheartedly in the efforts which are being made to overcome the depression and its attendant evils, and to meet with courage, renewed from the example of the early settlers in difficulties which ; are still before us. If they do, then I am confident New Zealand wil be one of the first countries to be restored to prosper-, ity.” • -yM) .
