'." The police gave evidence that Mrs Gamble had; previously attempted . suicide, and was known as a. drug-taker for 15 years. The coroner, remarking that the solicitors of Sir John and Mrs Barney considered it unnecessary to explain ithet references to them,, returned a verdict! of suicide “through an unconquerable habit of taking drugs.’*
Sir John Mullens left the court before the end of the proceedings.
