SURVIVOR OF AIR DISASTER. NEW ORLEANS, September .16. Saved by his belt from fatal iujudy, a passenger, George Rayjdson, was the only survivor of an air liner crash .In Texas. ■ The great machine, -an Airway? ’plane, crashed into a hillside in a fog. Both pilots and one passenger were killed. Davidson, though burned, will recover. Nervous because of the had weather, Davidson tied. himself securely to his seat with his safety belt. When the crash came, this prevented him from 'being dashed forward and stunned as .happened with the others. Releasing, himself, he leaped through the window a moment befor e the ’plane was enveloped in flames. He fled, as he was. unable to assist his comrades.
