DOGS POISONED
“ COINCIDES WITH LAMBING SEASON. (Per Press Association— Copyright.) ■ AUCKLAND, September 24. At least! fifteen valuable dogs have been poisonod a’t Ohinemntu this week, Strychnine is'alleged to have been the cause. This is the third year in succession that there has been an epidemic of poisoning of dogs about this time of the year, and it has been noted that it practically coincides with the lambing season, Several; other dogs are being carefully nursed back to health by their owners.
