N.Z. RIFLE TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, September 22. Preparations have been made for a team of ten New Zealand marksmen to attend the New South Wales championships rifle meeting, which! opens on the Liverpool range, Sydney, on October 8. Eight of the team are members of the Petone Club, and the others the from the South Island. They are:—W. Ballinger, E. A. Ballinger, A. C. Ballinger, R. 11. Niclioll, A. H. O’Donnell, 11. L. Rule, J. Carter and T. J. Chapman (all members of the Petone Chib), and 11. Koppert (Oamnru), G. Cromio (Rakaia). Carter, the captain, left by the Monownf for Sydney on Tuesday.
