SIX-A-SIDE TOURNEY. WON BY ROVER A. A six-a-side hockey tournament was played on Cass Square yesterday afternoon fin- the Newman Cup, under very pleasant conditions, the Rover A team proving the winners alter very interesting contests. The referees during the afternoon were Messrs F. Stapleton, A. Sumner, S. Fleming, R. Paterson and Nelson (Greymouth). The results were as follows :

First Round. Rover A 4, beat Rover C 0. Kokatahi 1, beat Mawhera B 0., Mawhcra A 3, beat Hokitika H <b Hokitika A 2, beat Rover B 0. Second Round. Rover A 4, beat Kokatahi 0. Mawhera A 2, and Hokitika A 2 Mawhera winning after extra play by a behind. Final. Rover A 1, beat Mawhera 0.
