Using thu stopper hold in a wrestling match to-night, Hugliie Whitman (Australia), 11.2, defeated Lon Nayler (New Zealand) 11.4. Whitman won his first fall with the stopper in the third round. Nayler equalised with a spin and dump in the fifth. Whitman won the deciding fall with another stopper, his opponent being forced to submit.
