A POSSIBLE RESUMPTION.

RUGBY, September 14

It is understood that conversations regarding a possible resumption of work on the new 73,000 ton Cunard liner at Clydebank, took place yesterday and to-day, between Rt. Hon. Neville Chamberlain (Chancellor of the Exchequer), Rt. Hon. W. G. Runciman (President of the Board of Trade), and ISir Thomas Royden, director of the Cunard Company, at the home of the latter. .

In the meantime, a regular meeting was held at Liverpool of other Directors of the Cunard Company. The two Ministers le.’t for London to-day.
