LABOUR CAUCUS
BEFORE SESSION BUSINESS FOR CONSIDERATION* (Per Press Association — Copyright.)
WESTPORT, September 12.
Arrangements have been made by 'the Labour Party for the holding of ,a„ caucus of the party ion Wednesday of next week, the day preceding the opening of Parliament.'^
It is expected that questions of considerable importance will be discussed at the caucus.
/ It is expected that an endeavour will be made to arrive at a common policy on currency questions. , The caucus will also decide whether the party will launch a ,no-confidence motion.
Considerable interest will centre in the attitud e of the new member for the Southern Maori, Mr Th-ikatene. The Labour Party claims that the new member will range .himself with the official opposition.
