BAND CONTEST
AT DUNEDIN NEXT YEAR

WELLINGTON, September 9.
Next year’s championship band contest will be held in Dunedin about the end of February. Mr H. D. Bennett, Chairman of the N.Z. Brass Bands’ Association, said that the Dunedin authorities had indicated their willingness to run the contest. It was tho turn of Christchurch to have the contest. but it had been stated that it was unable to undertake all of tl'.o necessary organisation.
