HIDE AND SKELETON PRESERVED,

NEW YORK, September 9.

Mr Davis is visiting New York. He hag revealed that he is having the hide of Pbur Lap preserved, and the skeleton articulated. They will subsequently be placed on exhibition in Australia.

Mr Davis visited the Belmont race track, where lie met Mr Joseph Widener, and discussed the feasibility of holding a brief exhibition of the hide in New York for the benefit of charity.
