Reserved judgment was to-day delivered in the SupJt'fimu Colttt” by Mr Justice MacGregor on the application uudd t.ho' Bankruptcy Act concerning John Mbug,' the artmnlon winner, who was recently sentenced to imprison* meat for . offences i - under thaty Apt; The application was by the Official Assignee to have declared void, as against him, a deed oi settlement dated'March '1,1931', and authority In writing dated Setemfeer 1, 1931, given by Moug for the maintenance of his child, and involving sums of £750 and £IOO respectively. The application with respect to the £750 failed, an order being made dir.ecting the two trustees to pay . to the Official Assignee the other sum £IOO. ’ , His Honour said he understood that at least that sum would be required to pay 20s in the pound on the proved debts of bankrupt, so that the full amount was now recoverable.
